Hawkeye campout Friday august 15 to Sunday august 17

Club campout at Hawkeye site up Shoshone creek off the Coeur d’ Alene River. Directions are listed in the map portion of this web site.
Ride Saturday, leave at 9 am . Route and ride leader to be determined. All size machines welcome. Probably 40 to 60 miles on old Forest Service Roads. Bring lunch and water. Ride will probably go over the mountain top into Montana. Again on Forest Service Roads.
Potluck dinner Saturday evening. Club to provide cold pork, buns and fixins.
Hawkeye site is an open field but does have a Forest Service pit toilet. Field is large enough to accommodate over 25 RVs. Road is Blacktop to the site.
Some are going up early to spent the week there. Probably ride every day. Wednesday or Thursday we will do some minor trail maintenance on trail 1516 such as cutting brush.
